Sarah is working as an RA in the Dispersion Lab on wearable haptics.
Bio: My focus is on creative human-computer interaction in the physical three-dimensional spaces afforded by virtual (VR), augmented (AR), and mixed (MR/XR) reality environments. I am primarily concerned with how individual intuitive kinesthetic movements and tactile expressions are translated into virtual form, and how hand & body gestures-in-motion may be augmented with dynamics- driven simulations. Naturally, haptic technology (integrated with Audio/Visual) is of interest.
Currently creating curiosities in the Digital Media PhD program. If I were a cat I’d be dead by now.
