Danny Sheahan is a graduate Music student at York University and a member of the DisPerSion Lab’s Electro-Acoustic Orchestra.
With key interests in musical soundscapes, minimalist composition and improvisation, Danny enjoys performing improvised music as a multi-instrumentalist through an electro-acoustic context, as well as independently producing electronic music in his solo project “Wallace”. His works explore the musical realms of drone and ambient, often centered around his primary instrument, the piano.
Danny looks forward to furthering his research into the art and history of improvisation in performance through his continued participation in the Electro-Acoustic Orchestra.
